Selfless; he loves wholly and purely despite the fact that he doesn't understand how one can love him, he cares for everyone/everything but himself.

History:
Ishmael was always put down as a child, he was abused mentally and physically, every day he was constantly reminded that he was a mistake or in other words "a worthless piece of shit". He was a bastard foal who's father was from another herd, a rival herd, this was strongly frowned upon. Ishmael was on the lower part of the totem pole, he was a peasant or a slave as you wish. Scars litter his body, giving away his abusive past. Ishmael never fought back and despite the poor treatment he received he still loved purely and wholly. He was abused for so many years he now craves hurt, he craves to feel pain, he constantly reminds himself that he is no good.
